On Monday it was time to get to Sedona! We couldn't check in to the house until 4:00 p.m. so we did a grocery run and went still had time to go through the ghost/tourist town of Jerome on the way to Sedona.
Ghost towns are a photographer's dream! I LOVED the old buildings! It was just a little too touristy for me though.
This huge building looked like it was probably an apartment complex. It's fun imagining what old buildings could be.
We walked around for a bit and found a little park for the kids to play on for a while. Loved the old metal slide. That's the kind I played on as a kid.
After that, we drove to Sedona and made it just after 4:00 when pretty much everyone else arrived. We got lost checking out the place. It was a GREAT house with tons of bedrooms. It was all one level so it was really big! Oh, I guess there was a little loft that my kids stayed in. It was hot!
Caden & Kylie chillin'.
The property was awesome and the kids had a great time playing in the small creeks catching tadpoles and lizards…until the owners got after us. Lame.
