1st Day of Preschool!

Preschool was FINALLY starting (the 2nd week of September)! Sadie was so excited! It's called Lilypad Preschool and it's just up the hill from us. I was sad that the lady that did preschool in our neighborhood moved. It was so nice when Cambree went there that she could just walk around the corner! Luckily, there are PLENTY of kids in our neighborhood going to this preschool and we carpool. I was going back and forth about which preschool to send her to, the one for 3-4 year olds or the one for 4-5 year olds. Since her birthday is right before the school deadline, we pretty much get to decide. I ask anyone who I hear has a similar birthday about what they think. Shawn really wants to hold her back but I kind of want to send her. So we will see how fast she picks up things in preschool before we decide. So I put her in the older one in case we do send her next year. AND the time is VERY convenient. It's during Easton's nap time when she would be having quiet time watching a movie anyway so it's perfect. That's really what ultimately decided.
Here she is! The big preschooler!
Easton wanted his picture taken too.
She LOVES her backpack she got for her birthday party!
A few friends joined her in a picture on the first day. (Kinda sad she didn't get new shoes for preschool. Well, she is the 3rd girl!)

After preschool...
A funny after preschool picture in the street. She was too fast to get one when they got out. She got a treat for a friend's birthday in school.
She's learning how to spell her name already! Such a cute project.
It was a good day! So glad she likes preschool! Other parts of the week were a little rough. Whenever I would take her to coop or anything she'd say she would miss me and sometimes cry. She didn't even want to go to play group.  Her dance teacher was new and she didn't want to go to dance and threw a fit. It was rough. But the next week, she got more sleep (I think that was the biggest problem) and knew her new routine and she was just fine. It was weird. She is my easy child and she wasn't that week!
