Cambree's Kindergarten Program

Cambree's Kindergarten program was darling! She has been singing the songs for weeks so I had a pretty good idea of what was coming. They sang a cute color song, the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom story, Gift to Be Simple song, My Tooth is Loose poem, and What I learned in Kindergarten poem. What I didn't know was they had some of the kids read a story from their journals. Cambree read one about her Aunt Tiffany getting married and how she got to see them kiss. It was so cute and everyone laughed at that.

Her toothless grin is getting worse and worse! She keeps pulling on teeth. I think she doesn't want teeth anymore or she wants the money from the tooth fairy. :)
This is the ABC book she made. It was pretty cute! She (or I) took pictures of her school projects and put them in the book.
Here's her teacher (and I'm about to throw my dumb P&S camera away! I can't stand this picture). Cambree LOVES Mrs. Reiber and will definitely miss her. Cambree has really grown up in Kindergarten and has learned so much thanks to her teacher. I don't think I'm ready for summer yet!

Life in Pictures

April sure came and went! Here are just some randomness that was April.
Just some olive goodness. Kids always have to do this with olives.

This is the first time we've EVER pulled out the jumper for any of our kids. My sis-in-law gave it to me when Brinley was a baby. Easton loves to jump on our laps so I thought we'd give this a try. He LOVES it and is a crazy baby jumping all over the place!
Sadie wanted to hold Easton. He's as big as she is...if not bigger!
Sadie likes to get in Easton's toy but this time she found his bink. She looked so funny! What a cute, little baby. ;)
Sadie likes to play with Ty when he comes over for co-op. She was putting necklaces and tiaras on him. He didn't mind at all. I'm sure his dad did though!
The 3 young-uns. Cambree loves to hold Easton...but he's starting to get too heavy for her to hold longer than 30 seconds.

Sadie is lovin' the headbands, necklaces, and skirts. She's such a girly-girl!
Another pre-hair cut picture. Such crazy hair!! He's had 3 haircuts now!
She's just cute with crazy hair too. It never stays in anymore and it's more frizzy.
Everyone trying out the sunglasses they got for Easter.
Sadie loves my iTouch, as I've mentioned before. But it was such an oxymoron to be in the baby swing on the touch. (is that what you'd call it?)
Yes, Brinley IS in our family still. ;) She just didn't get any camera time being at school most of the day.

Easton-6 Months Old!

My baby boy is 6 months old already! (well, now he's 7 months) It has definitely gone by fast...but mostly S-L-O-W.  I'm still adjusting to 4 kids but we're getting there! Sleep definitely plays a part in how I'm feeling and just this week, he's been sleeping better (fingers crossed!). After this stage in his life, I finally decided to give his binky back. He's old enough to keep it in his mouth and can put it in himself if he works at it and he LOVES it! That thing is HEAVEN!! He is a COMPLETELY different baby! I couldn't believe it when he slept through the night that first night after I gave it back. Now, he wakes up about once a night and Shawn just pops his binky in and he goes right back to sleep! It's really amazing and an answer to our prayers! I know...I REALLY treasure my sleep!
Anyway...what is our big boy up to?
-He weighed in at a whopping 23 pounds at his 6 month checkup! And he's all in the upper 90 percentiles in everything. Nothing new.
-He SCREAMS A LOT! Whether he's happy or sad he's screaming like a girl.
-He has 2 little teeth and I'm thinking he's working on the next two.
-He can roll over onto his stomach and can only roll back when he's REALLY mad in his it's not too that's annoying.
-He likes to hit anything (mostly my shoulder when I'm carrying him) and pull hair.
-He has a deep laugh that is oh-so-cute!
-He drools A TON...hence why I think he is going to get teeth soon...but not always a sign.
-He is on solids and loves veggies but not really fruit. Weird! He makes a sour face when we give him fruit.
-He is really good-natured and likes to smile at anyone whenever we go places. We just love our chubba-bub!
So I bought this BYU beanie back when I was pregnant with Cambree and saved it. I was just going to do a simple backdrop with a few balls. Shawn got all excited about my idea and grabbed all sorts of BYU stuff from when he played. I actually LOVE how they turned out!
So that's our boy! As cute as ever!!

Easton's 1st Surgery

Thank goodness his first surgery was just tubes in his ears. He's had 5 ear infections in 6 months. I was tired of him being fine for a week and then getting another ear infection. He is even on soy milk because of his slight allergy to milk and to see if that helps with the ear infections. No such luck. Recently, he's also been getting up in the night 2, 3 or even 4 times! I don't want to let him cry it out because he's probably in pain from his ears. But it's getting old! Sadie's tube surgery went so well that I was ready for him to have it and hopefully all of us will be happier.
We decided to go with a new doctor and loved him! He was really great to let us know what was going on. The only downside to the surgery is our insurance only covered at the Timpanogas Hospital and they only do these surgeries in the afternoon. So Easton's last bottle was at 6 a.m. and he could have apple juice at 9 a.m. (which he didn't like very much and only had a little). He had a hard time getting his morning nap in since he was hungry before going down. But after about an hour of screaming, he went down. Shawn took the day off work to help me out. I knew I would have a hard time handling all his crying while taking care of the other kiddos. After his nap, it was time to go to the hospital! We didn't have to wait too long before they took us back. We got him dressed and ready to go! We talked to various people before things were FINALLY ready for him to have his 20 minute surgery. There was a lot of crying and screaming that went on during that time so I was glad to have Shawn there. The surgery was quick and I could hear him screaming when he came out of it. We quickly got him a bottle and then all was right in the world. We brought him home and he took a long nap. Not too bad!
Here he is all happy. He had no idea what's going to hit him in a few minutes.
Oh! He's just so little!

I wish I could say that he slept better right away, but he didn't. I think he was in a habit of getting up. Now it's time to break that habit!!

Spring Break 2012

Of course we didn't go anywhere for Spring Break (even though I'm DYING for a break!! But being in the car with a screaming 6 month old (he hates the car) and sleeping in a hotel room where he screams several times a night, didn't convince me it would be a vacation) and me being the lame mom that I am, made the kids work to get their reward later in the week. I was sick of the house being disorganized. We didn't get everything done that I wanted but we cleaned out closets and washed walls and cleaned and vacuumed. They were really good workers! They must've wanted their reward! I've never taken them to the Aquarium so at the end of the week, we went. It was pretty busy and I was worried I would loose Sadie. I bribed told the girls to watch her and if they did a good job I would get them a treat. It worked like a charm! I didn't loose her!
They loved the sting rays. Sadie even liked touching them.
It still is crazy to me that all these kids are MINE!!
Easton did really well too as long as the stroller kept moving.
It's definitely a small aquarium but it was perfect size for my bunch. Easton was pretty much done when we'd seen it all. The otter exhibit was fun, especially cuz it was feeding time. That about does it for Spring Break!
